What is DirectID?
We would like to address any concerns you have in regard to accessing and approving your banking provider through DirectID.
DirectID enables us to communicate with your bank electronically through open banking. To confirm, other than your name, bank account number and sort code we do not have access to any other information.
The reason we use DirectID is because it is a trusted, secure and a fast provider. DirectID enables us to accurately collect your name, bank account number and sort code as your bank electronically provides these. This will ensure no error is made in recording your name, sort code and account number as they are imported from DirectID to Shieldpay.
Do not wish to use DirectID or having issues with DirectID?
On the page that asks you to select your bank, if you scroll down to the bottom of this page you should see in the bottom left corner "cancel and return to ShieldPay". If you click on that, it will then allow you to manually enter in your name, bank account number and sort code.
Your link has expired?
Your link will expire once you have submitted your bank details, this means that we currently don’t need anything further from you. However, if there is anything incomplete or we do require further information, we will reach out to you directly.
I have completed the form, when should I expect to receive my payment?
If everything has gone through well, you should receive your payment within 7 working days.
