Why is Shieldpay involved in my litigation claim?

Shieldpay will be sending the settlement funds to claimants on behalf of the law firm that you are a client of due to the large number of claimants involved. This is so that the law firms can ensure everyone’s Compensation Award is paid to them as swiftly and practicably as possible.

Shieldpay is a well-established and FCA approved intermediary which regularly provides financial administration services to law firms.  A list of law firms and other clients already using Shieldpay is available on our webpage.

Shieldpay is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 770210) under the Payment Services Regulations 2017. All funds held by Shieldpay are safeguarded and segregated and will always be designated client funds.
