We’ll be able to release funds once we’ve received either:
- A joint confirmation from both sides agreed to release the disputed funds; or
- An CEDR Arbitration Outcome informing the release of duns held as part of the transaction; or
- A decision made by a court of competent jurisdiction
We’ll hold the funds for 10 calendar days once we’ve received notification of your agreement, or the binding outcome from CEDR.
If either side appeals the decision, they must notify both Shieldpay and CEDR within this 10 calendar day appeal period.
Otherwise, Shieldpay will continue to hold funds securely in the Shieldpay Vault until the outcome of any appeal.
